Introducing Chimamanda Peace Ugo: A Bright Star Discovered by Glovision Charity Foundation
At Glovision Charity Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering students who are committed to achieving success and are willing to put in the work to make their dreams a reality. We are proud to introduce you, once again, to one of our shining stars, Ms. Chimanda Peace Ugo.
Chimamanda was discovered by our organization a few years back while she was still in secondary school at Girls Secondary School Abakpa Nike. It was clear from the beginning that she was a bright student with a lot of potential. We took her under our wing to provide mentorship and support to help her achieve her goals.
To start, we enrolled Chimamanda into an internship program with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Coal City Fm Enugu. We provided her with a laptop, WiFi for internet connectivity, and financial support to cover her rent during the three-month program. Her exceptional performance during the internship earned her a spot in a basic course on internet journalism with the London School of Journalism as sponsored by our organization. She graduated with distinction, and we were thrilled to provide her with further sponsorship for an advanced course.
Chimamanda’s passion for communication and her dedication to her studies have paid off, and we are excited to announce that she has been admitted to study Mass Communication at the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka. As an organization, we are committed to supporting her through this journey with a scholarship and have already released the necessary fees for her first year payments.
We are proud of Chimamanda and her achievements, and we will continue to provide support to deserving students like her who are committed to their education and future success.
Once again, congratulations to Chimamanda Peace Ugo, and we look forward to seeing the incredible things she will accomplish in the future.
Cheers!!
